El Gadaref State Consultation and Discussion Workshop

Workshop consultation and discussion held at 25\4\2016 in El Gadaref State.it was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Irrigation, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Head of Technical Affairs for Forests National corporation ,Head of the Agricultural Committee at Legislative Council. The first paper contained A

definition of the program and its history in world and Sudan as well as It addressed the risk of degradation of tree cover in world and Sudan  Presented by the focal point of program in El Gadaref .

The session was Moderated By Director of greenbelts fund .The second paper presented By focal point of the program in eastern sector It included how to Prepare FPIC.

  • Stand on the rehabilitation of forest cover in El Gadaref State
  • Support all projects and organizations involved in the rehabilitation of forests
  • Participation of all sectors in the REDD+ programme
